Appearance: Clean & crisp looking with a slight yellow tint
Aroma: Citrusy
Taste: Very, very grapefruit! Light and clean. Refreshing.
Comments: Though it’s a white wine it has enough consistency to offset the spicy Mexican dinner. The citrus was just what that dinner needed! I would definitely buy this wine again, especially in the dog days of Summer!
It’s interesting how many wines are coming with screw tops lately.

Hi Robin - Thanks for the review of our 2006 Magnolia Lane Sauvignon Blanc. I’m so pleased to hear it went well with your spicy Mexican food. I also love it paired with chilled prawns or oysters on the half shell. Let me know if I can answer any questions on this wine or any others that we produce. Sounds like you like the screw cap closure as well! This is our 2nd year in using the screw cap closure with our Magnolia Lane Sauvignon Blanc. It’s so nice not to have to worry about getting a ‘corked’ bottle!

A co-worker brought this wine to the tsating room the other day, and I really enjoyed it. It went nicely with my Trader Joe’s caesar salad with chicken breast, as the the dressing is kinda spicy.

We have purchased this wine several more times since this initial review and it has been a winner every time. For a white wine it is very satisfying and offers a very crisp, clean taste that I haven’t found in many others. Thanks for the comments!
