Why I’m Happy to Drink Cheap Wine

Having recently read a story about wine counterfeiting I came to the realization that I’m happy such a thing would never happen to me.

Trinchero Family Cabernet Sauvignon

Even though there isn’t significant fraudulent activity going on right now many upscale wine makers are taking preventative steps to ensure that cheaters aren’t successful in trying to pass off a bottle of 2 Buck Chuck Cab as a high-dollar treat from Colgin Cellars. Why would this never happen to me? Who would try to pass off a bottle of Mad Dog as a $13 bottle of Louis M. Martini? There just isn’t any money in it! Why waste the time and money trying to counterfeit the cheap stuff?

Nothing against the upscale wineries and sites where you can find finer wines but so far in my wine drinking experience Cellar 8 Cab works for me. It tastes good and doesn’t cost much. Can’t beat it.
